Pvp
I understand that you can specifically create a pvp char, but if you have made lvl 20, have max armor and weapon, can you do both pve and pvp with the same char ? I have never tried pvp in GW, but considering ...

Yes you can take part in PvP with a PvE character. However a lot of people prefer PvP characters for the flexability (free skills/instant weaponry).
Also the little things that give you the edge in PvP (weapon sets, perfect armour etc) are harder easier to acheive on a PvP character. The main PvP hub of GW is the Great temple of Balthazar - You can get there by selecting the ship on the map. |

You can create a PvP character which is lvl20 from the start, but will not be able to move to the PvE world. It will have acces to all skills known to your account, and all weapon mods known to you.
You can create a PvE character which is lvl1 from the start, and can move to the PvP world. It will have easier acces to fancy armor, but it cannot use all the skills known to your account, neither as the weapon modifiers, only those known to the character. So only PvE characters can do both PvE and PvP. Hope it helps |

yes you can. PvP characters are just much easier to re-equip for different builds etc. but if you have all the proper equipment on a pve character for a particular build you want to run, you can absolutely use it for pvp.
